HOW DID YOU GET INTO THIS LINE OF WORK? As Chef-Owner of 7th Heaven Gourmet Catering I am driven by a life long personal passion for food and rigorous attention to the quality of the ingredients. Before getting into a professional capacity as a chef, I was a magazine Editor for a magazine that I helped start and named and won Best New Publication of the year. Four days after the award dinner, the Publisher pulled the plug on this glossy, high-end publication. I was asked to join the staff of an online version - for free! Since I needed to pay my bills, I started drawing on my background of living, eating and cooking in Italy for 13 years by taking catering jobs from friends and friends of friends who had tasted and loved my food. I also started making homemade preserves, sauces and Italian biscotti for farmers markets - basically indulging my passion for food/eating and cooking. Lo and behold, this new door opened and a serious hobby evolved into a profession.

Our choices are creative yet simple. Our philosophy is K.I.S.S. - Keep It Simple, Stupid- let the top quality ingredients shine and don't bog them down with unnecessary and unwelcome extras! Our menus are affordable and seasonal - Mediterranean and California cuisine with Asian influences. Try our Italian biscotti (the best you will have) and other sumptuous desserts!

WHAT MAKES YOUR FOOD STAND OUT FROM OTHERS?
Everything we make is made from scratch and organic when possible. We do not use prepared, prepackaged foods. We do not use mayo, unless we make it ourselves. All original or authentic recipes - just genuine FOOD. It's just as easy to make everything from scratch - and it's much more delicious! We cook the way we ourselves like to eat.

We love to see how people's eyes light up when they taste our food - the surprise and the pleasure. We love the enthusiastic feedback knowing they enjoyed our creations and that they made a "bella figura" - great impression - on their guests.
